Quick Reviews
- Stephanie: I enjoyed this episode. The formal Qreshi dinner was a hoot, and it was fun to see Luke Macfarlane and Rob Stewart do the body swap. I thought they did a pretty good job mimicking each other. However, that plotline felt underdeveloped to me, almost as if what should have been an A-plot was squeezed into a B-plot time frame. But I thought this was one of the best comedic vehicles for Aaron Ashmore in a while and generally a really good episode for showcasing Johnny.
- Annie: I enjoyed this episode. I loved the awkwardness of Johnny trying to fit into the Qreshi society and then he and Pawter solving the problem of the deadly fog. I thought Luke Macfarlane and Rob Stewart did a great job with the body swap, capturing each character’s mannerisms perfectly. However, I’m really worried about the position Johnny’s left in, torn between Pawter and Dutch at the end. Hannah John-Kamen and Aaron Ashmore were at the top of their game in that fabulous last scene.
- Kris: I liked this episode a lot! Seeing Pawter’s family was pretty interesting, especially since we’ve only seen glimpses of Qreshi formality before. I thought Luke Macfarlane and Rob Stewart did a great job with their body-swapping. My one complaint is that I wish they would’ve spent more time with that storyline, in particular. I know they only have ten episodes, but that felt too important to spend so little time on.
