Team Awesome Force reunites with their army to try to figure out a way on to the Hullen-occupied RAC to save the kidnapped children and retrieve the only viable green pool.
Quick Reviews
Annie: I loved this episode! It was great to see the whole Team Awesome Force and their allies try to take back the RAC. I liked all the character moments, like Dutch having to respect Turin’s command, as well as the humorous bits like D’avin and Fancy’s little competition. The episode had some high stakes where sacrifices were made and not everyone made it out, which was expected but surprisingly emotional. And that switcheroo with Dutch and Aneela at the end! I love how this show always manages to surprise me. Also, Hannah John-Kamen’s talents as an actress know no bounds, as per usual.
Kris: So much happened this episode! First of all, that ending was AMAZING and I love it and I’m kind of scared but also excited(?)! I love that this show manages to be so bonkers in a grounded way — by which I mean that they have some really out there stuff happen, but in ways that make sense in the context of the show. (I know I’ve said that before, and I’ll probably say it again a few times before the series ends!) I love that Jaq and Team Awesome Force seemed genuinely sad to be parting ways. I don’t doubt that they’ll reunite. I’m sad but not surprised by the character deaths in this episode. I actually really appreciate the scene where they all volunteer to be the one to stay behind. It feels true to the characters.
