Annie and Stephanie report on what has happened to The Android in the first and second episodes of Dark Matter’s Season 2, as well as what’s been happening in the HoYay department.

The crew takes a job that ends up with Two being captured by the people who created her. Faced with a well-fortified facility, the crew sends in the Android to help Two escape. After Two is safely back on the ship, Five finds that someone has disabled the Android. When they realize that only one of them could have done it, the crew members begin to turn on each other.

With the Raza taken over by another group of thieves, Five is put in an especially vulnerable position as the only crew member without a bounty on her head. One’s assumed identity of Jace Corso makes him of particular interest to the thieves, and he doesn’t have the answers they want.

When the Mikkei Combine rescues the Raza from Ferrous Corp’s revenge, the Raza are forced to do a job — with a less than trustworthy crew of thieves — in exchange for the Mikkei’s continued protection. Meanwhile, the Android creates a factory default version of herself to determine the flaws in her programming.

Four tries to arrange a meeting with his brother, but the Emperor’s guards greet him instead. One stews over the revelation that he came on board to avenge his wife’s murder. Meanwhile, Five confronts Six about his distancing himself from her.

The crew stops at a space station for supplies, but Six has other plans in mind. When Five tells the crew what Six is up to, Four and One go after him, revealing One’s big secret to yet another crew member. Meanwhile, the Android tries to come to terms with the fact that she seems to experience human emotions.

Five remembers the code to the locked vault where the crew finds a store of useful items including money, weapons, and an entertainment android named Wendy. The Android feels forgotten when the crew seems to appreciate Wendy’s abilities more than her own. In the vault, the crew also finds a woman in stasis who has some information about Three’s past.

Five builds a mind probe that reveals some of her hidden memories. She experiences some of Four’s past and discovers why she’s on the ship. Six also learns a secret about his past that unsettles him.

The crew is sent to retrieve a deserted ship floating in space, which they decide to scavenge for valuables. Three and One become separated from the rest of the group, and they cannot be reached when Two discovers that the ship isn’t deserted after all.
