Bo and Tamsin find themselves stuck in a time loop during the celebration of Yule. They try to make the best of it and have some fun until they realize that some of the party goers are going missing. Meanwhile, Lauren and Dyson, with the surprising help of Vex, debate the consequences of telling Bo about a mysterious package she shipped herself, and Hale and Kenzi prepare to take their relationship to the next level.
4×07 “La Fae Époque” — Episode 33
When Dyson is set to be executed by The Una Mens for crimes he supposedly committed over 100 years ago, Bo enlists Lauren’s help to transport herself into Dyson’s memories to clear him of the charges. In Dyson’s memories, Bo’s subconscious comes out to play, revealing some of her fears and desires. Meanwhile, both Hale and Kenzi do what they can to help Dyson.
4×06 “Of All the Gin Joints” — Episode 32
A woman appears saying that Bo told her to find her, but Bo has no memory of meeting her. In exchange for helping her free herself from her captor, the woman promises to use her abilities to help Bo remember the time she has forgotten. Meanwhile, Lauren and The Morrigan get chatty as Lauren settles into her new relationship with the Dark, and Hale and Kenzi might finally be connecting.
4×05 “Let the Dark Times Roll” — Episode 31
After learning from The Una Mens that she had somehow pledged herself to the Dark, Bo goes looking for Vex to try to undo it. Promising to help her find Vex, The Morrigan invites Bo to a Dark Fae party where she discovers that Lauren has also been taken into the fold. Kenzi and Tamsin discover that Bruce has been made a slave to another Fae as punishment for helping Kenzi, and they try to free him. Trick is summoned before The Una Mens who have some questions about The Blood King.
Emily Andras Interview — Episode 30
Lost Girl showrunner Emily Andras was kind enough to join us for a chat. We ask her about how the writing process works on Lost Girl, if the writers are still planning to hold Kenzi to that favor she owes The Morrigan from “Table for Fae,” who came up with the brilliant idea for that car wash promo, and whether she has a bet going with the other writers to get Ksenia Solo to make out with as many of her fellow cast members as possible.
4×04 “Turn to Stone” — Episode 29
When Massimo steals the furniture from the clubhouse because of Kenzi’s debt, Bo must return to Lauren’s apartment for an herb to pay him, and she discovers some surprising things. While he tries to find Lauren, Dyson babysits Tamsin, who is going through some changes. Meanwhile, Lauren deals with her captors, who have an interesting request.
4×03 “Lovers. Apart.” — Episode 28
After escaping from a mysterious train on another plane, Bo comes across a family being haunted by a vengeful ghost. Still in search of Bo, Dyson joins forces with Clio to track her down. Lauren gets closer to her co-worker Crystal, but that relationship may be in jeopardy because Lauren’s past seems to be catching up with her.
4×02 “Sleeping Beauty School” — Episode 27
Dyson teams up with a tracker to find Bo, who doesn’t seem to be on this plane anymore. While Kenzi babysits a tiny Tamsin, Hale tries to muster enough nerve to tell Kenzi how he feels about her. Lauren encounters a Fae while she’s in hiding, which helps her bond with her co-worker, Crystal.
4×01 “In Memoriam” — Episode 26
When Kenzi and Dyson take on a case for a new client whose memory of her daughter has been erased, they soon realize that their memories have been tampered with as well. To find out what they’ve lost, they attend a gala of a rich man who owns a device that might restore their memories. Meanwhile, everyone is adjusting to the recent changes in local government with Vex ascending to the position of The Morrigan and a group of Fae called the Una Mens surfacing.
Hats Off to Hale — Episode 25
Hale has been through some changes since we first met him, evolving from a more one-dimensional ladies’ man character to a more fleshed out individual struggling with people’s expectations of him. We discuss Hale’s journey from sidekick to acting Ash, Hale’s approach to power, how his character challenges gender expectations, and more.
