Khlyen reveals the origin of Aneela as well as her desire to use the green plasma on Arkyn. Dutch and the team must find a tree that Aneela took from Arkyn in order to stop her from enslaving the people of the Quad.

Dutch and D’avin retrieve Johnny and Pawter from Old Town and plan to go after Jelco in Spring Hill. However, Jelco proves to have information relevant to Dutch’s interests, so she saves him from the angry people of Old Town, who take Dutch hostage instead. Pawter tries to out-maneuver Delle Seyah Kendry, and she is faced with a tough decision.

Dutch is determined to uncover more about the mysterious Aneela, which leads her, D’avin, and Alvis back to Arkyn where they discover a surprising survivor. Johnny and Pawter investigate the purpose of the wall around Old Town, which they suspect will be used to cull the weaker citizens from the population.

With Sabine revealed as a Six, Dutch and the team try to interrogate her for information about Khlyen and the purpose of Level VI. However, Sabine’s encounter with D’avin changed her, and he struggles with how to handle her as their captive. Meanwhile, Johnny asks Pawter to order a warrant for the person who designed the wall that surrounds Old Town.

Trying to learn all they can about the green goo from Arkyn, Dutch and the team try to barter with a collector for his sample of the goo. The deal turns sour when the man they’re bartering with decides that he would much rather have D’avin and Johnny as part of his collection.

When Johnny escorts Pawter to speak with her parents’, they must respond to an attack against the Simms family. Meanwhile, D’avin tries to resist Khlyen dipping into his thoughts to gather information for his investigation into D’avin’s past. In this episode, we give our quick reviews of Killjoys 2.05 “Meet the Parents.” We hope to release our more in depth discussion soon.

Having tracked Khlyen’s last transmission before Red 17 was destroyed, Dutch and the team take a warrant to escort children to the Prodigy School, which educates gifted kids from Westerley. However, when the killjoys arrive at the school, they discover that the last class is missing.

In their pursuit of Khlyen, the team makes a trip to the badlands where they confront a threat in a mine. Under house arrest at Spring Hill, Pawter tries to get dirt on Jelco, who asks for her assistance.

To find their friends in Old Town, Dutch and the team take a warrant ordered by the Company officer who is controlling the area while it is on lockdown. With help from Alvis, they track down a prison escapee who took a dangerous chemical weapon. Meanwhile, Johnny urges Pawter to use her Qreshi ties to get aid to Old Town.
